Natural and Comfortable Portraits

I always grew up saying I would never become one myself. Yet it was quite a shock one day when I realized how portraiture has a few eerie similarities.

I pride myself in being able to get to know my subjects quickly, and to foster the right environment to be able to capture them naturally.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been told that a session wasn’t quite as bad as going to the dentist. From the section of people who hate having their portraits taken, this is the best compliment I can possibly hear.

No matter how serious the meeting, as long as there are a few light moments,
I will manage to get you some smiling, engaged images from your events. I will certainly capture those serious moments, but the relaxed moments can be more elusive, and they are always what I make sure to come back with.

 

HAVING FUN

I like to capture people in their environments, as I think this is what will be most memorable in the long term. I have over a decade of experience as a photographer in Auckland, working with all types of people.
